I could have owned at least one duplex in Ojodu-Berger and no fewer than four landed properties in Lagos and Ogun State many years ago as a danfo driver earning money daily, if only I had an investment expert or a company to help me save and invest my earnings.
My name is Paul Oseghale and this is the story of how I missed the opportunity to achieve financial freedom in Lagos as a daily earner 20 years ago. After living in regret for over two decades, I decided to team up with my business partners to establish Bolingo Investment Experts Ltd, with the mission of helping daily earners unlock their prosperity.
I drove a 22-seater bus, operating the Ijora-Olopa to Mile 12 route in Lagos. At the time, I was making around ₦10,000 to ₦20,000 a day from transporting people and goods. Though my daily income was steady, so was my reckless spending. Almost every day, I went to Kuramo beach and other places to squander my earnings, never thinking about saving or investing. After all, I would make more money tomorrow, I told myself.
Before I knew it, I lost the bus that had been my steady source of income. That was when it hit me, I had wasted a golden opportunity to achieve financial security. If only there had been a financial solution designed to help me manage and grow my wealth, I could have been a landlord in Lagos by now, with my money still working for me.
As I approached my golden years, I began reflecting on my past mistakes and what I could do to to help other whom are where I was 20 years ago, I started making research. That was when I discovered that millions of daily earners in the informal sector in Nigeria are underserved by traditional financial institutions. Many don’t know how to build wealth from their daily earnings.
This realization led to the birth of Bolingo Investment Experts Ltd in 2025, a company dedicated to filling this gap and empowering daily earners to secure their financial future.
At Bolingo Investment Experts Ltd, we empower traders, PoS agents, bike (okada) riders, food vendors and other daily earners in Nigeria’s informal sector to save, invest and grow their wealth effortlessly.
